Quick start
New to Guangji API? Follow these four steps. Already have a key? Go to client setup.
1. Sign in to Guangji API
Open the Guangji API website and sign in. If you do not have an account, register and complete the verification requested on the page.
Enter the console. Check your available balance in the wallet, and use the payment methods shown there if you need to top up.
2. Create an API key
Open API keys, sometimes called Tokens, and create a key. Give it a recognizable name, select the intended group, and set an appropriate spending limit.
Save and copy the complete key. See Create an API key.
Model requests use a key from the API keys page. The access token in your account profile is for account management; do not put it in a chat client.
3. Connect a client or your code
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| API Base URL | https://guangjiapi.top/v1 for tools expecting a full OpenAI-compatible base URL |
| API Key | The complete key you just created |
| Model | A model ID copied from the Guangji API model marketplace |
Some tools append /v1 themselves. Check the address guide before entering it.
- Chat client: follow the Cherry Studio guide.
- Coding tools: use CC Switch one-click import.
- Code: try the cURL, Python, JavaScript or PowerShell examples.
4. Send a test message
Select your model and send a short request. After receiving a response, check the model and cost in the console usage logs.
Check the current model price before testing, and start with a small request.
If there is no response, keep the error message and follow troubleshooting, or contact QQ support.
